Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using FacePrima ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.

2. License Grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and execute FacePrima on compatible macOS devices that you own or control, strictly for personal, creative, or commercial content production in compliance with these Terms and the Mac App Store Terms of Service.

3. Ownership of User Content

You retain 100% full copyright, title, and ownership of all caricatures, video recordings, snapshots, and media created using FacePrima.

You are free to publish, broadcast, stream, license, or monetize your exported caricatures across any platform (including YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Discord, and commercial broadcasts) without paying royalties to us.

4. Offline Processing & Data Architecture

FacePrima performs all computer vision, facial mesh calculations, and cartoon neural filters locally on your Mac's hardware (CPU, GPU, and Apple Neural Engine).

Because processing is entirely offline and on-device, you acknowledge that we have no access to your media files, camera feed, or local exports, and we cannot recover or restore files deleted from your local storage.

5. Acceptable Use & Conduct

You agree not to use FacePrima to:

• Create defamatory, harassing, or unlawfully deceptive media depicting third parties without their knowledge or legal consent.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the Application, except to the extent permitted by mandatory applicable law.
• Circumvent or tamper with any digital rights management or security features of the Mac App Store.

6. Mac App Store Terms & Purchases

Any financial transactions, subscriptions, or one-time license fees are processed through Apple's Mac App Store. Terms regarding billing, renewals, and refunds are governed directly by Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

FacePrima is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the application will be error-free or uninterrupted across all hardware configurations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall FacePrima or its creators be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the Application.
